Arts :: Russian painter wants to create the world monumental picture

The Russian painter-globalist Leonid Yatsenko is inspired the idea of creating the world monumental picture. It is a giant mosaic where all regions would be drawn by artists, natives of those places. "We all will be able to see the real face of our planet which appears obligatory", - Leonid Yatsenko says.

Leonid Yatsenko's creation is submitted in a range of pictures named after the common title "Geography". States on the pictures are as people and animals. Both the pictures from the "Geography" range and his other graphic works have been in South Germany threefold where the most part of pictures are in private collections.
Leonid Yatsenko submitted his pictures to "G8" Summit. It was in the middle of July, 2008 in St.Petersburg. The members of "G8"highly marked the painter's creation.

Leonid Yatsenko attracts to his project "The Map of the World" foreign painters, patrons, investors, mass media, all people who are interested in it or can help in doing the project. The site www.izografia.ru is created in the Russian and the English languages. There you can look at the painter's pictures.
